Artist
From a young age, I have enjoyed creating art, from checking out drawing books at the library back in elementary school to creating paintings as gifts for family and friends in my 20s. As I grew older, art became my passion.
Since 2019 I have worked on commission art pieces and textiles. After relocating to Miami in 2021, I had an art studio for a while. This allowed me to experiment with my painting with an emphasis in spray paint art.
Tattoos caught my attention during that time of creativity because of the many tattoos Miamians have on their bodies. I already had a few tattoos myself and now I was wanting more. At that point, I decided to learn how to tattoo.
I started tattooing myself – both legs and my left arm. (I’m right handed – ha ha!) The art of tattooing steadily became my life. My friends agreed to let me practice on them. I am very grateful for these friends because in addition to practicing my craft, I learned through hands-on experience how to tattoo on different skin types.
Since 2021, I’ve been tattooing practically every day of the year. That prepared me to join a tattoo parlor.
Today you will find me at Inner Ape Tattoos on NW 79th Street in Miami. Inner Ape is part of a five-parlor operation centered in Miami where each has a collective of tattoo artists in residence. You can reach any of us through all five sites, just remember to use our names when you DM.
The best way to reach me is to DM me on my personal Instagram. I would enjoy sharing a memory with you on your next tattoo.

Traveler
At the age of 9, my mother took my sister and me to Japan to live on Yokota Air Base. We were kicking and screaming, I might add, as neither of us wanted to move. However, it changed my life by opening the incredible possibilities in the world.
Since Japan, I have lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico; Wichita, Kansas; San Antonio, Texas; and now, Miami, Florida. (Wichita is my hometown.)
I take every chance I can to vacation, visiting friends, attending conferences, and exploring the sights. I’m working on visiting all 50 states and other countries around the world.
It’s meeting people and learning about the local culture that makes traveling fun for me.
Road Less Traveled
A couple years ago I got sober. My sobriety let me discover my true passion —tattooing. I look forward to the years ahead of me.
